My First Love by Kelsey D (Original Poem)

Music
My First Love
Our relationship is like a crazy love story.
You see, I want to pursue you so bad,
anxious to give you everything I have.
Too shy to express how I feel that I get mad,
shamelessly boasting to friends about what I had.
You're so amazing that....I just brag.
I can't help but love you for,
how you make me feel inside.
Happy, sad, angry, thankful,
grateful, because you boost my pride.
It seems as though when no one else supports me,
you're always there.
When I felt I wasn't good enough you showed that to ME,
no one compared.
Placed me in the front when my heart saw comfort on the back row of the class.
I'm wiser because of you, so there's no question that in life, I will pass.
More than anything you taught me what LOVE was.
In a world full of hate and war
you made me love just because.
Anita said that love was "sweet," although it's used in vain, Musiq.
It's not ordinary, Sade, sometimes dangerous Beyonce.
It can make you cry, Brandy, "Ribbons in the Sky, "Stevie.
Took me "Through the Fire," Chaka,
And I just can't stop, MJ, but makes me sing "Love, Love, Love," Donny Hathaway.
Music, you're my addiction and I can't live without you,
I thank God that I have you because the withdrawal would kill me,
And without you, I'd be lost.
An imitation of you had females thinking they were Barbies,
But you help me to realize; plastic is used, abused,
and after it's job is done, cut up and tossed.
I'm crazy about you, but you keep me sane,
enough for me to know that when I have nothing and no one, YOU will remain.
I love you music, You are are my first true love.

Will Your Other - A Drazon Original (demo)

Hey Everyone!!! I know it's been a little minute right?? Lol I will soon be back to updating my blog on a regular basis.  I was really busy this summer and a lot happened, but my outlet is my music so I can no longer neglect it!

So right now I'm posting this song that I recorded last summer which was written by writer, musician, and producer Andre Sanders aka "Drazon." You can check out more of his work at Indabamusic.

So here it is people! Let me know what you think! And again.....let the music move you!
